The news in the sports world today is that Michael Vick wants a dog again. I’m all for forgiving Vick for what he did, but even if you forgive you can’t forget. You don’t give an alcoholic a bottle of wine after he’s proven he hasn’t driven drunk for a few years. //

It was just a year ago when we were watching a video like this one when Uga VII was crowned. This is a sad day in Georgia history. //
Georgia fans were so happy last fall when Uga VII took over as the mascot of the University of Georgia. All alumni and current students talked about him for weeks. He was the pride and joy the South until his passing yesterday. Uga was a “Damn Good Dawg” and will be missed. //
After six years of dedicated service Castor the search dog is retiring. He’ll be spending his retirement in luxury as a family dog. Read more at The Spectrum //
